Girls Night Out!

Krimson has been asking for a Girls Night Out for a few days now and tonight it finally happened!! The girls got dressed up in their best gymnastics outfits, high heels, and biker shorts/leggings and we hit the town! Their monkey's, Cherry & Monkey, came along to for the fun!

The girls always have the best posses for me that say, "I'm out on the town and I'm going to have a GREAT time!!" They turned heads every where we went and brought a little joy to the Monroe Pecanland Mall :)

Our big adventure tonight was getting feathers for the girls hair! They were so proud and very excited about how beautiful they looked!!

There is never a dull moment with these two and I am so proud to be called their MOM!! I love you girls! Thanks for showing this mom a good time :)

School Year Kick-Off!

Better late than never :)....The boys started school August 17th. They were 1/2 ready and 1/2 not. We hit the ground running with them because they both started football this year and it started this week too. Adam is in 3rd grade and Jude is in 1st. Adam jumped right in to homework and reading. Jude is not so pumped about homework, but he does it well once I get him to do it. It's going to be a GREAT year!!

Krimson started school August 22. She is going to The Children's garden this year. She's doing pre-k 4 as a 5 year old. She was SO excited to go to the school that the boys did at this age. She goes and comes from school every day VERY excited!! She is eager to learn and shares everything with me.
Peace Out!! September 8th Eden got her turn!!! She's been asking since Krimson went to school. Eden started WEE school this year and she is in the pre-k 3 class. The first day I think she hugged her teacher like 10 times :) This week is her first full week and she couldn't be more excited! Her teacher, Mrs. Angie, gave her a folder for her papers and she wanted to show everyone that first day. If she gets this excited about her folder this year is going to be REALLY exciting!!

The latest on the girls

Krimson and Eden have been asking for a while now to paint. I was organizing their bathroom closet and found this basket and Eden had the great idea to paint IT!! Smart girl...and it looks beautiful!!

That same day, but later Eden was running from the bathroom when I was calling her and busted on the floor. We tried to save her tooth, but it just wouldn't stay in her mouth. Poor girl.
There was LOTS of crying and LOTS of blood, but she is tough (and now she looks it)
My 4 kids have now all officially knocked out their first tooth. Technically Adam's didn't come out right away, but the doctor pulled it and Krimson's got shoved back in by yours truly and it stayed in. Jude and Eden both got the shove, but their teeth didn't want to stay. I think some kind of mouth piece will be in our future :)
The night after the "incident" Marc took the girls to see the Smerfs....they LOVED it!!! The girls shared a seat, drink, and popcorn. Notice how lovely they made themselves for their date :)
School for the boys starts next week, Krimson the next, and Eden after Labor Day. It Begins!

The Backyard....DAY 9

Well....it took a while, but we finally got some sod! We spread seed first, but with all the rain we have had lately it was washing away and the birds were enjoying what was left. So, Saturday Marc, John, David, Adam, Krimson, and I laid some sod. It was fun to watch our dirt backyard turn into grass instantly!

For now we just got 3 pallets and put the grass where we really needed it and we are letting the spots where the seed had taken root grow into the sod. So, right now we are watering, watering, and watering some more!! Thank You Lord!!!!! We will have a backyard to play in this summer :)

Happy Birthday Adam!

9!! I can't believe Adam is 9!! I guess I'll be say this every year, but I am amazed every year how big my kids are getting. Adam had a nerf gun war birthday this year and it was a BLAST!!!!! We had about 16 kids and 8 parents playing! It was kids against adults (or re-dults as Adam would say)! The battles were good and we all agreed we wanted to do it again next year!!

Here is the awesome cake that Melissa Shelby made for the party. Once again, it was perfect!!

Happy Birthday Krimson!

Krimson's birthday this year got spread out over a week!! It started with her friends party at Kiroli park on Good Friday!! It was a beautiful day and we had a Tinkerbell party!

Then we headed to Searcy for Easter and celebrated with Grandma and Big Daddy, and all the Searcy cousins!
OUR plans were to be home for her birthday, but Monday night our van was hit in the storms that passed over Little Rock. So, we spent the night in Little Rock. Krimson's actual birthday was spent in the hotel and van driving home to West Monroe. We picked up some cupcakes in Sheridan to celebrate the actual day!
Grandma Vicki was waiting for us at the house when we got to Home and she bought Krimson a princess cake to celebrate too!!!
Things were crazy this year, but it was fun celebrating Krimson ALL week long! What a bright light she brings to our family. I love what a sweet big sister she is to Eden. She is so smart and learns so much from her big brothers! I wouldn't change you Krimson Leigh for anything. She is her own person and I can't wait to see that develop!! I LOVE YOU Krimson! Happy Birthday!!

Six Flags over Texas

Adam won a free trip to Six Flags for getting at least 100 points in Accelerated Reader at school this year!!! He worked so hard for this reward and I am so proud of him!! We left the morning of April 29th at 4:45am from the school parking lot. The school chartered a bus and Adam really enjoyed riding the bus! He brought his DS and itouch and played these games while we drove 5 hours to Six Flags. (we were sitting by his friend and classmate Shelby who is in the back ground here)

We made it to Six Flags at 10am and hit the ground running!! Here we are about to get on the NEW Texas Giant!! It was Sooooooo FUN!

We were next in line at Mr. Freeze and they shut the ride down to work on it....stinky, but we'll do it in St. Louis!!
We headed from the Freeze to Batman and we got to ride it 2 times in a row!! LOVE this ride!

Church Egg Hunt

Every year our Children's Ministers have an egg hunt at their house with over 8,000 eggs!! The kids always have a good time! Krimson spotted the face painting right away!

I went with Eden so she's the only one who I got pictures of actually getting eggs!

The bunny train was running too and that is where I always found Krimson! This time her and Eden are in the 2 car and Jude is in the first one.

Jude and Krimson found big carrots during the hunt that said "bunny" on them, so when they were done hunting eggs they both got to pick out a bunny. Guess who gave theirs to Eden? I'll give you 2 guesses, but you will only need one if you know Jude. Such a sweet boy and he didn't even think twice about it. Eden was soooooooo happy!

The beginning of Easter Celebrations

Our first activity this Easter was to dye eggs!! The kids always LOVE this and so do I!

T-Ball 2011

Let me just say, Krimson has LOVED playing sports this year!!! Soccer has been a blast and now she is jumping into t-ball with both feet!! She got dressed at 3pm today for her 5:45 game!! I'm so proud of her and I love how she waves at me every time she changes positions!! She listens and looks for all her family and hears every time we cheer for her! This is going to be a fun season!!

Girl Trip 2011

Since our trip in 2009 Krimson has been asking for another "Girl Trip"...Well, this weekend we got to go!! Marcie came down to Monroe and joined us since with a house full of boys she doesn't get to go on a lot of girl trips! Krimson and Eden LOVE Marcie and they could not wait for her to get here!!

We spend our fun weekend in Shreveport, LA at the Boardwalk!!! It was a BEAUTIFUL weekend weather wise and we had fun checking out all the shops!! Right when we got there we got a Pretzel to start our day!!

The girls spotted Build-a-Bear immediately and when I told them they could get one thing this weekend they quickly decided that it need to be a new build-a-bear! It made the rest of the weekend pretty easy cause if they asked for something they quickly remembered, "Oh yeah, I got a build-a-bear!" Here the girls are at one of their favorite spots at a fountain on the boardwalk!

These girls went everywhere with us the first day at the Boardwalk!
Of coarse ice cream was on the "to-do list" this weekend!! The girls and I enjoyed Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream with a chocolate dipped waffle bowl! You can tell by Krimson's face that we ENJOYED it!!
That night we went to HOP on it's opening day and the girls LOVED it!! Krimson laughed and repeated funny lines the whole movie. Eden enjoyed the popcorn :)
That night Krimson choose to sleep with Marcie and had her read the book of choice Silverlicious!!!
Eden then wanted Marcie to read it to her too, so before sleep both girls got to have Marcie read them this special book.
After our baths we all painted our toe nails and the girls painted their fingernails too. I gave all the girls a new Princess toe ring and they looked so cute on!!!
In the morning the girls enjoyed starting their day with Pop tarts and Sunny D!!!
We checked out BassPro first thing and the girls loved the big fish!
Eden was NOT so sure about this bear...:)
Marcie took the girls back to Clair's where she got them these "girls" that they had their eye on!! They had fun with them all day!! Thank you Marcie!!

We ate at Joe's Crab Shack before we headed home. The girls enjoyed their food and the playground while we ate!!

This was my view a lot of the weekend. The sweet view of my girls LOVING on Marcie on this beautiful weekend! Fun memories to treasure and get us excited about our next GIRLS TRIP!!

The Backyard....DAY 8

We now officially have a DIRT backyard!! Our goal this week is to spread some seed out! The yard looks so much flatter. The guys brought in more dirt and really leveled it off for us. They have pieced most of the fence back together and are building a new section on another part. We are waiting for a few things to be made, but for the most part they are done.

Wow....I guess I always hear, "It took longer than expected." But I was really hoping it wouldn't and here we are in day 7. They poured concrete and flattened out our dirt more, but now we are waiting again. Hopefully NEXT week it will be done. I'm reminding myself that it is a MAJOR blessing that we can get this done and I know the Lord is watching over it all no matter how long it takes!!

Here's my sweet Jude at 2 years old!! You can see why I call him SWEET!!!! He has always had the most beautiful smile and cutest laugh!!

Now at 7 and all boy I know he wouldn't want me to tell him he is sweet and cute, but a tough and cool boy! BUT seriously....look at this face!! What a fun 3 days we have had celebrating Jude!! Happy Birthday and our family is so blessed that Jesus sent you to US!!! I love you!!

The backyard....DAY 3,4, 5, & 6

On day three of the work in the backyard they finished taking the culverts out and dug out more of the ditch. They also had to drill to get the culverts off of the catch basins.

The guys worked on day 4 moving sand and dirt, but could do much because the guys delivering the culverts never showed. At least while they were there...This big truck showed up about 3:30 pm to deliver the culverts!
This was the only spot to put the culverts since there were trailers in our front yard and the backyard....well you know why they couldn't go there. Needless to say we had to park at the neighbors this night.

On the fifth day they got most of the culverts in and covered with dirt.

On the sixth day they put all, but a couple of feet of the culverts in and packed the dirt in. They flattened it all out and now we hardly have any grass :)
You can see all our toys shoved to the corner back of the yard while they worked today!

The other side of the fence had to come down today while they connected our culverts to the catch basin. We're getting closer!!!

The backyard....DAY 2

These first few pictures are actually from the first day....I forgot to upload them, but Adam really wanted me to take pictures of him out on the culverts.

Jude just wanted to be sure he could still get his daily dose of the trampoline!!!
Adam told me we need to have a party and invite all our friends over so they could see our "COOL" backyard!!

Now to start day 2!!! The guys got to work early pulling the culverts out!! I could even feel the ground shaking from inside the house as they pulled them out! I took the first few pictures from inside the house cause I didn't want to get in the way.

Our fence had to be taken apart because it's support was being rip out, so our backyard was available for all to see as they drove by. We brought lots of entertainment for our neighbors today!!

There was a catch basin here, but they guys had to bust it out! It was totally useless and actually sending water back into our yard...nice :)

All of this water was flowing UNDER our culverts making it's own path. Tomorrow they will have to pump this water out and make it flow a different way till they can get the new culverts in and make it go just throw the culverts. I'm glad someone else is doing this and know what they are doing cause the person who put these in DID NOT.
This is where we leave off today....

Tomorrow the plan is to get all the old culverts gone and get ready for the new culverts!

The backyard....DAY 1

This February after a pretty good rain Marc found this "HOLE" in our back yard! This first picture is not what it looked like when we first found it (The boards in the picture actually covered it at first). When we first looked down the hole we could see our culverts that were extended the whole length of your back yard that were "suppose to be" draining the water from our back yard (and neighbors yards).

As days and weeks and more rain went on the hole gradually got bigger...and bigger!
To make a really LONG story short the city, insurance, previous owners, and everyone else we asked would not cover any of it, but we were told it had to be taken care of or more holes would develop and work it's way to our house. The easy way out was to fill the hole and sell, but the easiest way was how we ended up with the house. We did NOT have peace about selling without being totally honest with buyers and that would probably lead to a loss in the sell of the house. The other option was to replace the old, bad, and useless culverts with new ones. Do it right and have peace weather we stayed in the house the rest of our lives or sold it the next day.
Well....with the Lords blessing and guidance we broke ground March 14th. Krimson is on the digger with a good friend from church as he started digging.

The morning started with lots of rain so once the culverts were revealed the workers left for the day letting it dry out. Here is Roscoe checking it out!!

Here you can see the water flowing UNDER the culvert. This was near where the hole was in the yard. Now you can see why...

A couple of tree's had to be dug up and removed so we could get to the culvert.

The next step is to remove the culverts....Many more pictures to come!

Basketball 2011

The boys basketball season ended this past weekend! What fun we had watching them, but most of all...What Fun THEY Had!! They both had 2 games every Saturday for 6 weeks...that's a lot of basketball!

Valentines 2011

Valentines day is one of the most special holidays for our family!! Every year the kids, Marc, and I look forward to this day!! Valentines 2007 we started our family tradition where Marc takes the girls out for a special date and the boys take me out on a date. The girls get all dressed up for Marc and he takes them out to eat where they want to go. The boys and I get all dressed up and they take me out where I like to eat. We go all out and get dessert too! It's such a special time. Of coarse all of this is training for our kids for when they really do go out on a date...some day (a long, long time away :)). Here is the kids treats in the morning when the woke up!

Marc got the girls flowers and they were swept away. Krimson carried hers all around before they left and found a nice spot on her dresser for it!
When Eden got her flower she hugged it and kissed it and said, "Thank you for my flower." about 3 times in a row.

For the boys and me it's all about the food! I got Adam to put a nice shirt on and it went great with his grey athletic pants! Jude won't even think about dressing up, so I didn't even try. Adam told me he thought about our date all day while he was at school. He decided where we ate, that we should shop some, go to a movie, and eat ice cream! Both boys were so much fun all night and very sweet! Look out girls!! (but they are mine for now:))

Monster Trucks 2011!

MONSTER TRUCKS 2011!! The boys always look forward to this night with Marc! Well, this year Adam invited one of his best buds Wyatt and Krimson got to come! I'm laughing cause she's in the back ground...the boys were very kind to let her "tag" along. (She was VERY excited...she led into asking if she could go with, "I love my boys...")

Adam and Jude were preparing for wrestling with Marc and they surprised him with this!!

The boys thought they were pretty funny! Adam has Marc's college jersey on and Jude has his high school jersey on!
Jude is pretending to catch a football!! After this they changed to the white jerseys! It was really cute and cool to see them in his jerseys!
Krimson decided to give it a try too, but with the shoulder pads on! That's my girl!!

NGF and Basketball

For Christmas Adam got a set of Nerf guns and every since then they have changed how we play everything!! Marc and the boys were playing a Nerf gun version of hide and go seek and decided we needed more space. So, we called another family that has kids the same age and sex as ours and met them up that the church building for NGF (Nerf Gun Fight) It was a blast and we are now going to start a weekly date of NGF!! It is fun for the WHOLE family...that's right parents play too! We have a flag that lights up that we can find in the dark, we play hide and go seek, and the kids love to play against the parents. I'm sure there will be more blogs about this coming soon!!!

Here is a picture of the boys before we began the night! I told them to scare me...the Spence boys did...my boys? not really sure what they were going for :)

The girls enjoyed mixing it up as well! They didn't really stick to the rules, they had their own "Shoot the boys!" Worked for me :)
Saturday we started our 6 week stretch of Basketball!! The boys were really excited! Here is Kate, Krimson, Jude, and Brodie waiting for Adam and Jonathan's first game to start!
Marc is coaching both of the boys teams and they both have orange jerseys! Adam's team is really good and I'm excited to see how they do this season! Adam got lots of steals and was quick on his feet. He scored in all the games today and in the last (short) game he had the only points!

In between games Terry Slawson goes over the scripture for the season with the kids! I love how he always brings us back to what really matters!
We were at Seeker Springs ALL day Saturday (7:30 am till about 2pm). So, Eden got a little tired by the end. Krimson and she did great cheering on the boys and being patient!
We played on the play ground outside during the break between Adam and Jude's games!
Here is Marc talking with Jude's team! Jude is the only player that has played basketball before. Needless to say it will be a hard season. Jude was the only player that scored for his team all day. Marc did a good job being patient and helping with the basics like dribbling and going the right direction! This age always provides LOTS of entertainment!

This Saturday was a fun day at the gym. They had shooting contest, dribbling contest, and running contest. They also had the coaches shoot baskets and if they didn't make all of them their team got to pick out a funny wig for they to wear! Well, as you can see Marc didn't make all of his shots and this is the wig he got to wear! The kids all thought it was really funny (except Adam...he didn't like the girl looking wig). Krimson really loved that it was purple!!
We are looking forward to more games and lots of fun! Go Orange Teams!!! (I think Adam's team is calling themselves the sharks and Jude's team is calling themselves the bobcats!)

Hair Cuts

I got my hair cut right before Christmas break and the girls now decided they wanted to join the short hair club!! I cut Krimson's hair a year ago like this, but this was Eden's first big hair cut. They are so excited about the cut and have loved show the new due off!

Eden was hard to catch on film, but you can see the in mirror!

Krimson had enjoyed brushing her hair more now that it's short...
and this face is what she had made all day today when she looks in the mirror/fridge/window (wherever she can see her reflection). I think she told me at least 4 times today that she LOVES her beautiful hair cut!!

12 days of Christmas...Day 12

The 12th day of Christmas is really 2 days, but just 12 hours so we are ending it with a big BAM!!! It starts with our Fager Family Christmas Eve!!

12 days of Christmas...Day 11

On the 11th day of Christmas Krimson and Eden celebrated Jesus' Birthday!!

Eden's class had a Pajama Party!!
The Santa came and gave presents to all the kids! Krimson was SO excited! She hoped right up on Santa's lap :)
Eden didn't share Krimson's joy of being on Santa's lap, but she sat there for the picture :) Eden was excited to SEE Santa and LOVED her book from Santa :)

This was our first year to go see Christmas in Calhoun! It was really cool and lots of fun! The kids have already asked to go back another night! I think this will have to be a tradition! We always have a night to drive around and look at lights, and this year we added the Calhoun lights! What FUN!!

Jude has been looking forward to this day for a week now!! Jude's Kindergarten class went to see Santa at the mall and he couldn't wait to tell Santa what he wanted! Here he is looking at me as he's about to tell Santa what he really wants!

On the 7th day of Christmas Jude and his class got to meet Santa!
We (Me and the kids) also made our MONSTER cookies (aka Lisa's Cookies)! This is a Christmas tradition too b/c it makes so much and this time of year we have lots to share with! Here is Adam pouring in the oats as Krimson stirs.

Things got a little crazy the night we went to Scrooge and I didn't get any pictures. BUT! the 6th day of Christmas we went and saw the play SCROOGE and it was great!! Eden was a little wiggly, but the 3 older kids loved it and the cookies after :)

Every night of December we read between 1 and 4 Christmas books.

So, on the 5th day of Christmas I wanted to get one of the nights Marc was reading to the kids!

Eden was really enjoying this book!!
They all love reading our Christmas books!

Adam LOVES all our Christmas activities and really enjoys all the excitement, fun, and traditions this time of year!! I LOVE it!!!

12 days of Christmas...Day 4

On the 4th day of Christmas we go our own Red Nosed Reindeer! Eden wanted to really show off her excitement of the season and love for Rudolph!!

We also finally got our outside Christmas lights up!! The kids were VERY excited!! Krimson is "helping" with the lights that ran up our pathway.
Adam racked the leaves for us. We didn't make him. He wanted to make a huge pile for everyone to jump in, and they did!!
Marc worked hard to make the outside of our house SHINE!! It looks great!
We also made some chocolate pretzels for a treat that night!! I'm sure this isn't the only time we will make these this month!!

One the third day of Christmas the boys went to the Children's museum that was decorated for Christmas while the girls and I were at a Birthday party.

The we all met up on the streets behind Marc's work for the Christmas parade!!!

I'm so sad we didn't get much pictures this year at the toy drive. Marc got this shot with his phone and I was watching kids. Once again Adam and Marc worked hard unloading and organizing toys for kids that Marc's work works with. Such a wonderful project for our kids to help with!!

This night we decorated clothes pins to hang our Christmas cards with!! While the kids decorated we watched the Elf and ate M&Ms!!

Maui

One of Marc's life long friends got Married November 6th in Maui!! Marc was a groomsmen so I guess we just HAD to go:)!!!! What a fun time!! Our 12th anniversary is this year in December so we made this our anniversary trip!! We had fun together and with friends!!

The rainbows were out of this world!! We have never seen such glorious rainbows!!
Snorkeling was one of our favorite things to do!! We saw sea turtles, sting rays, lots of crazy beautiful fish, star fish, and a shark!!!
Here is where we stayed. The Maui Lu...as you can see where Marc is...we were right on the beach!! Perfect location!!

To God be the Glory!! This trip was all from him and we were blessed to get to be here in Maui!!

Lost Tooth

Yikes!! This is a tooth that was NOT suppose to come out!!...but it did. Thanks to Krimson's foot Jude lost one of his front top teeth! Jude has been wanting to loose a tooth, but this was not the way I'm sure he envisioned.

Well...Marc pulled off one of the BEST surprises of all time!! 2 weeks ago he drives me out into the middle of no-where Louisiana and had me guessing what I thought we were going to do. Let's just say I wouldn't have...We drove down a dead end road and pulled into what I thought was a barn and then look up and saw this sign...

OH YEAH!!! A Dream come true!!! I have always wanted to skydive, but resolved that it may never happen. Well, I obviously didn't know my husband well enough! Not only did he make it happen, but it was near Shreveport, LA, the weather was perfect (which speaking for LA that's a lot), and the place was beautiful!
HEY! I'm 34 now and about to jump out of a plane at 10,00o feet, free falling at 125 miles per hour...who needs to look good!!
Here is the plane that took me, Bill (the professional skydiver that I was strapped to), and a pilot up!! Our runway/landing was the grass you see under the plane.

Here is the one seat inside the plane (for the pilot) and I sat on the floor next to him with my back to the front of the plane. The door that slid down beside me was completely clear. I was sitting, what felt like, on the edge of the plane and when it was time this is where we jumped out!

We made it!! Me and Bill after the jump!! What a day...what an experience. He videoed it and I can't wait to get it in the mail. Thanks MARC...the BEST husband this skydiver could ever ask for!!

Soccer Season 2010

Adam after his first game in 100 degree weather. There are a lot of new rules and plays, but he did great in his first game. He has one boy on his team from last year and the rest are all new. They look like they are going to be good!

Krimson was so excited to play her first game and she was AWESOME!! She scored 2 goals and one of them was the first one of the game! She played hard and never complained. We are going to have a good season!

Jude started the morning for us and he came out with his gun loaded!! Jude also opened the season with a goal. He played real hard and cheered for his team just was hard! Jude's playing with all boys from his team last year and one new boy (who is awesome). They are going to be good and lots of fun to watch!
This is where we will be for the next 6 Saturdays!! Cheering on our soccer kids!!

Labor Day Weekend!

Grandma and Papa came to visit this weekend and it was so fun and relaxing!! They brought the beautiful weather that all the rest of the US has been having to LA and we were so happy! We had a birthday party for them, swam, played kick ball, games, jumped on the trampoline, shopped, ate at Johnny's, watched some movies, played the Wii, and just had a big time!!

Thanks for coming down and loving on us Grandma and Papa!!!! WE Love you!!!

Royal Ball

A couple of weeks ago we had the grand opening of our new children's wing at church! The whole thing is painted like the kids are in a castle and it looks AMAZING!!! Well to night was the "Royal Ball" which translates for the kids (pizza party!!). The kids were so excited to dress up and they had a blast! Here are some pictures of my princesses and knights!

Krimson, of course, has a fashion pose for the camera! She changed her look many times before we actually left, but this is one of them!

Eden woke up from her nap with a princess dress being put on her, but once we got to church she was fully awake!
Jude put on all of his gear from his Rite of Passage! The boys also made their crowns yesterday from some card board.
Adam couldn't fit into his Under armor shirt from his Rite of Passage, but we had another one! Many other boys and some dad's kept asking the boys where they got their swords! They were so excited to bring them. (I'm glad cause I was the one that ended up caring them most of the night ;)

Krimson has lots of things in her hands, but she could still fit a sword! The girls also got their fingernails painted and wanted to get their faces painted, but we ran out of time. Next "Ball" maybe :)
Jude stopped fighting his friends long enough for me to get a shot of him with his new sword! The boys spend most of their time at the "Ball" fighting with their swords!!

End of the Summer Pics!

Here are some pictures of things we did this summer in-between our trips!! Fun things we just did here around West Monroe!! Our summer is officially over, and our summer has been FUN!! Here are some of the good times we had!

The kids painted their hands and made the beautiful paintings!!

On a few HOT days we went to the Jungle Gym for play and cool off!!
Adam got up many mornings and took his time building some really cool things! It was a good time to build with no one awake to knock them over :)
The kids enjoyed a lot of their lunches outside on the patio! They were always up for a picnic! Their friend Annabelle came over a lot to picnic too!
We made it to Searcy a few times to swim in the pond...and play with the kittens! Eden and Becca are good buddies and loved playing together!
We went to a few parks, but the heat kept us from very many this summer. Here is Eden swinging and with her styling shades...such a COOL girl!

The girls got invited to a Luau, pool birthday party!! They LOVED their dress up stuff they got!
The boys enjoyed some fishing! Not many fish were caught, but when they were it was worth celebrating!
Here is Jude being the sweet big brother he is...Eden wanted him to hold her hand in the van! (I love the nose picking and legs crossed as well)
This face woke me up once this summer...it was a very pleasant way to wake up I must say :)
Krimson's friend, Bella, came over to swim one day and they had LOTS of fun!!
Bella's cousin, Peyton, also came and Jude and he had fun. Peyton and Jude go to the same school this year together.

We went to a friends house on night and their 12 year old daughter enjoyed putting make-up on the girls. Krimson added some extra on...can you tell?

Jude's Rite of Passage

Jude is starting Kindergarten this week and Marc took Jude out for is first Rite of Passage! He was so excited and asked me all day on Friday when Daddy was getting home!! They drove to Searcy late Friday night and stayed at Gma and Big Daddy's house. The next morning Big Daddy and Marc got up and set up the scavenger hunt while Gma and Jude read books.

This first picture is Jude with his map that Big Daddy drew up (not to scale I'm sure..hehe) for him to find his armor! Marc and Jude had read Ephesians 6 before the hike so Jude knew what he was looking for!!

Six Flags '10

Zoo, Tea Party, & Cardinals Game!

Saturday we got up early and went to the Zoo! We got there right at 8am and got to pet the new Sting Rays for free! The Kids LOVED that! After the Zoo Vicki took the 3 older girls home for a tea party while the rest of us went to the Cardinals game! What a day! (I got the pictures mixed up, but I think you'll still enjoy!)

Championship Tour!

Marc took Adam to the Civic Center today to view the Saints Super Bowl trophy! As you my remember, Adam became a HUGE Saints fan this year! So here are their pictures!!

The players all got a bat before each game leading up to the Super Bowl...their slogan was "Bring the Wood"

July 4th

One the 4th we went over to friends house who had a pond and pool!! Marc caught himself a nice size fish and the boys all were excited!!

It was a nice pool to swim in and the kids all had fun playing together!!

After we got back from swimming the dad's set off fireworks, and Kate and Eden sat like this most of the time with their hands over their ears and mouth!!

July 5th!!

Ok...so I thought I could get July 4th and 5th in one post, but I take to many pictures :) So, here is our weekend in reverse order. Today (which started at 10:30am...thanks kids!) was Beautiful and Jude actually went swimming 3 different times!! We have been LOVING our water slide/swimming pool and today was the best day for it!!!!

We have had lawn mower issues since moving into our new home. Today Marc finally went a bought a "new" mower and it didn't work....so, back to Lowes for a "newer" mower. We've had rain at some point everyday this week. Today we played on the church play ground and had a blast, and right after we got home and in the house the sky dropped. The kids were DIRTY, but we had lots of fun!

Garage Sale!

Today me and 4 other ladies had a garage sale at my house. We got rid of lots, but I also found lots!! One girl in particular, had just repainted her daughter's room and I found lots for the girls room!! Check it out!! I got this shelf for free cause it was left over at the end of the sale today.

I had these flowers and we got the butterfly today! What a perfect addition!!
This table and chairs were what I was most excited about!!! The girls sat right down and had a tea party when I brought them in their room!!!
None of this was from the garage sale...we just finally hung the ladder for the boy's trophies!
And of course I have to put a shot of my kids!! Cooling off (as best as you can in 100 degrees +) with Popsicles and ice cream sandwiches!!

Weekend Trip

We headed to Searcy for Father's Day weekend! We swam, swam, and swam some more!! The kids enjoyed playing in the pond all weekend...especially in this heat!!

While we were in Searcy Angie and I decided to take the kids to Six Flags in St. Louis b/c Marc's dad, Steve, had some free tickets! The kids were so excited and so were Angie and I! It was definitely worth it!!

I think this was the first time I had stayed till close since I was in high school!! The boys LOVED it and this is how the ride home went! Fun memories were made this past weekend!!

Eden Beth turned 2 while we were at the beach...we had a fun day celebrating her!

End of school Party!

Adam & Jude had games the other night and I got this picture of Adam and Adam. The only boys on the team with last name initials :)

Last year after Adam finished Kindergarten we started our "End of the Year" party tradition! Everyone has a bunking party in the living room! We pulled in our extra queen mattress and the boys got to sleep on in. The girls stayed up for the movie, but then went to their own beds, but the boys laid on their bed in the living room, ate ice cream, popcorn, and watched Tom & Jerry. They were so excited to "stay up late" that Adam said he wasn't sad that he lost his baseball game because he remembered that they got to stay up late!

Good Citizen

Adam received lots of certificates this year for staight A's and reading, but the one we are really proud of is the "Good Citizen" award! Adam behave's himself very well at school and is a great example to all of his friends. He's a great leader and we are so proud of him and the light he is being at school!! Here is to our Good Citizen!!

One Week Away from 2!!

We are going to the beach Saturday for the week and that is where Eden will get to have her birthday! I'm sure we will get lots of pictures, but just in case we don't have the Internet I wanted to wish my E Beth and VERY Happy Birthday!! I can't believe my baby is going to be 2! She's speaking in sentences, sleeping in the big bed, said good-bye to her passy and high chair, and will start potty training when we get home from the beach! BIG STUFF!! What joy she brings to our family! Her brothers and sister just adore her and take such good care of her. Eden loves having them home for the summer because right before school was out we had a morning ritual of her asking me where daddy was, where Adam was, where Jude was, and where Krimson was. We ALL love you EB, Eden Beth, E Beth, Eden!! Happy Birthday!!

I'm not sure if these girls are mine or not....the veggies in front of them would suggest that they are not. This was lunch one day last week for the girls...peas, carrots, and black olives! They enjoyed themselves completely! You go girls, be a good example for your mama!

Adam's Last Day of First Grade!

First Grade...Check

George Welch Elementary...Check!

It's been a great year for Adam. He's loved first grade and has made some nice friends! He's really grown and has done really well this year! Here he is at his desk!

Adam and Wyatt have really gotten close and we've already made plans to hang out this summer!!
Peyton and Adam got close later in the year and he is a fun little boy! I'm sure we'll be seeing more of him too!
Miss Loveridge was such a sweet and good teacher! Adam did very well having her as his teacher this year! She always told me how well he behaved in class and at the end of the year he received the "Good Citizen" award for the boys in his class!

We've now got a 2nd grader who will be at Drew Elementary next year with his Kindergarten brother, Jude!!! But first, we've got the summer to take care of!!

Jude's goal every game is to bust the fence down with every hit!! He has been a great hitter this year and this was the triple he hit tonight!!

Adam hit his first Home Run tonight! We were losing and his home run and the boy behind him won the game for us!! He was SO excited! He hit the ball out the 3rd base line all the way to the fence! He booked it home a few steps before the catcher!

We have been blessed to not have to many games in one day, but tonight the boys played back to back! Jude played first, then Adam! Both the boys look so good in their uniforms and have the same numbers this year!

Well, here I'm saying it again...I can't believe 8 years ago today I was in the hospital about to have my first born! Adam Paul! 8 Years Old!! He is so big and acts so old! This year for his birthday he wanted to have his first ever sleep over!! Buddies, Peyton and Wyatt were invited and it was their first sleep over (besides family) too!! What a Big day for everyone, but especially Adam. He was so excited and loved being in charge of the evenings activities.

Jude was his usual supportive brother. When we picked Adam up from school with his two buddies Jude said to me, "I'M SO EXCITED!" He had as much fun as Adam and felt Adam's excitement and really enjoyed the evening!!
When we first got home from school the boys played baseball with Adam's new wiffle balls and bats! They also played on the trampoline and with the Wii.

Adam's buddy, Wyatt, had a baseball game, so we all went to cheer him on (aka play in the dirt).
When we got home from the game Adam went on a scavenger hunt to find his final gift! They all did great following the clues and found the scooter!

After a long and crazy night the boys finally crashed. Memories were made this night that we will have forever! Adam said he wanted to do this all again next year when he turns 9!!

End of the year Programs!

Jude and Krimson ended their school years this week! They both had cute programs that I videoed, but here are a few pictures!! After Jude's program we celebrated with a little "Fouts Tradition"...ICE CREAM!! Growing up we always went out for ice cream after music programs and Marc and I have kept that tradition going! The kids love it, and don't let us forget!! Here are the girls and boys enjoying their treats after Jude's program!

Krimson's school had a play day in the park yesterday and program today! Our kids have been very blessed with some amazing, God lead pre-schools!! We love WEE school and the Children's Garden!

Adam is the back-up catcher for his pitching machine team and he really enjoys it! Our catcher was gone one game and they put him there with no practice and he has loved it! He looks forward to when the catcher wants to take a break and he gets his time behind the plate!!

Our K-girl turned 4 last weekend!! She was so excited and we celebrated at Build-A-Bear! The Joneshill's were here with us and everyone made a special friend!! Krimson had fun being the leader and picking out an outfit for her bear!!

Jude called Marc on the phone and told him he had a Home Run!! He was so excited he beat the catcher to home plate!!

Adam got batted home for the first time and he was excited too!! He has done well getting on base, but couldn't get someone after him to hit him home until last night!!

Adam has done really good in his first two games at hitting from the pitching machine! He listens to his coaches well and runs the bases fast!!

Jude is hitting really well this season and has gotten a lot faster! It's so fun watching Jude because you can tell he loves to play baseball!!

We are so proud of our boys and how hard they play. They are both such good examples on their teams and listen to their coaches very well. We have so much fun watching!! We got a lot more baseball to play and watch so I'm sure there will be more later!!

Louisiana Purchase Zoo

Krimson's class went to the Zoo today and she was so excited!! When we were pulling up to the Zoo she was squealing about her friends and Mrs. Carrie.

Rhino...this Zoo is not taken care of very well, so we don't make it here too much. It's sad seeing how bad the animals live.
We got to the Zoo right when it opened, so we got to see the Lions and tiger being let out of their cages. It was really cool to see them come running out. Here is Krimson with her classmates right after the Lion's ran out!
